Every golfer knows how important a good set of golf clubs is to their game and many golfers spend quite a tidy sum of money to purchase the best quality clubs they can afford. In addition, many golfers also spend a lot of money on private golfing lessons and golf training aids, but sometimes they overlook one simple and fundamental thing; their golf grips.
Outfitting your golf club set with new grips is a very inexpensive and effective way to quickly improve your golf game by helping you have more consistency simply because you can get a better hold on your clubs. With a better and firmer grip, you will also be able to improve your golf swing.
If you have a set of old and worn out golf grips on your set of clubs, then it doesn't really matter is you go out and find the very best golf training available because the condition of the grips will interfere with your ability to play your best game. Any golfer who is serious about the game is aware of the importance of maintaining their golfing equipment in the best condition possible.
Most amateur golfers never even think about the need to change the grips on their clubs. Novices can play for years with the same set of clubs without changing the grips and then wonder why they don't see any improvement in their game, even though they put in time to practice and buy other golf improvement aids and tools, watch all the golf training videos they can get their hands on, and constantly talk about wanting to be a better golfer.
Professional golfers know exactly how important it is to change the grips on their clubs regularly. In fact, some pros will have their clubs re-gripped at the end of every round of a golf tournament or other competitive event they are participating in. The reason they do this is so that their clubs feel exactly the same in their hands every day that they start a new round of play.
This may be overkill for the average golfer, but in the highly competitive environment of today's golf tournaments, the pros are looking for every advantage they can find and they don't like to leave things to chance. If the professional golfers put that much emphasis on making sure their grips are in great condition, then that should be a strong signal to everyone else interested in lowering their scores and improving their game.
The general guidelines for how often to replace grips are as follows. If you play golf an average of one time per week, then the grips on your clubs should be changed once every year. If you frequently play a round two times a week, then you should increase the frequency of replacing the grips to twice a year. If you also get to the driving range once or twice a week, then you should change those grips even more often than that.
You may not need to replace all of the grips on your club set at the same time. It really depends on how often you use your clubs. You can choose to only replace the grips on the clubs that are used more and are starting to feel worn. However, some golfers like to have all of the clubs re-gripped at the same time so that, for awhile at least, all the clubs have the same feel to them.
It is good to get into the habit of checking on the condition of the golf grips on your clubs at least once a month, especially if you play a round once a week. Grips that have that shiny look and slick feel should be replaced. A set of grips in good condition will feel a bit sticky and will feel great as you wrap your hands around them. When you have new grips on your clubs you will have a better sense of confidence, which in turn will lead to more success on the course.

Cleveland HiBore Driver - The Driver that Gets Results
Prior to the now popular Cleveland HiBore, Cleveland was known primarily for their wedges. Well, that's all changed. The HiBore is now considered by many, as the driver of choice for golfers of all levels.
Cleveland has positioned itself rather successfully as the authority of wedges. Recently however, Cleveland has upped the ante by adding the driver to the list of things they do extremely well. The rapid pace of deployment into the premier driver ranks is quite inspiring to say the least. The technology behind the HiBore is nothing short of impressive.
The three main technologies at work behind the Cleveland HiBore driver are Energy Transfer Core, Distance Driven Geometry, and Full Face Performance. A short description of each is warranted to get a good a full depiction of the true performance potential of this driver.
The idea behind Energy Transfer Core is to create an efficient energy transfer that increase ball speeds, all from a system of thin, lightweight titanium spines. The Distance Driven Geometry concept consists of providing optimal launch conditions by moving the weight of the club head lower and deeper, this is called CG or Center of Gravity. And finally Full Face Performance is aligning the "sweet spot" to cover a large area of the club face thus increasing ball speed and distance.
Collectively, these three technologies result in a driver that puts a premium on a high Moment of Inertia (MOI). MOI is the latest buzz in the driver market , and with good reason. It is a fact that high MOI promotes a tighter dispersion of shots, something we all strive for in a driver especially. Cleveland has done a superb job of combining all of these technologies to make a heck of a driver, one that exceeds epectations on MOI.
The HiBore has two models of ancestry starting with the "original" and ending with the XL and XLS. The XLS is considered the more technologically advanced driver of the three and the king of MOI. The XLS offers a Standard, Tour and Draw versions making it even more accessible for all golfers to fit into a HiBore.
Take advantage of a driver that is built around a high MOI. Start throwing darts off the tee box with your new Cleveland HiBore. But best keep it quiet, you don't want your buddies to find out your secret!
Newbies Guide to Swing a Golf club
Golf is a superb game, but there are a lot of people which would like to come experts, yet do not have a clue on how to swing a golf club. So today we will take a look at some of the greatest tips on which you can get to help you mastering the swing.
Hitting a golf ball is not really as hard as some golfing researcher's say, just as playing rounder's or baseball, the trick is all down in the movement. One of the most important aspects of golf is getting your stand right. Basically if you position yourself incorrectly then your muscles will be using themselves to restructure the body, which in all honesty is a waste of energy, as this could rather be better used to put power into the swing.
You should then position yourself to wards the ball and focus on your backswing, you should on the whole think that you are turning your complete back to the ball. Then on the downswing you should just let gravity do the effort, with that little bit of push by yourself. Do not push yourself to hit the ball or you could ruin the hit.
There are also some other aspects which you should consider when learning to hit the perfect swing:
First and foremost if you have heard the saying practice makes perfect, then it is perfectly true in this scenario. There is no way in which you can just walk onto a golf course and become a full blow expert, practice is the key and should be performed whenever possible.
While learning you need to consider parts such as the smoothness and rhythm of your play, these create superb co ordination and reflexes towards your shots.
Finally levelling yourself in accuracy with the ball is a must; do not stand too close or too far away from the ball as both can have poor effects. Golf is a game of tactics; you can either play golf for fun or in tournaments. Whichever you choose you must understand that precision is everything, you will not become the greatest golf player over night, it literally takes hours upon hours of training and trial and error. Keep on pushing yourself and it will get better in no time and then you will be secure enough to play with even the top performing acts.

Perception Of Public Golf Course Often Misleading
For some people there has always been a somewhat negative perception about a public golf course, with the inference that it is not as well maintained as private courses or country clubs. The reality is, that just like many businesses open to the public, there are good ones and ones that are not so good, and there are others that rival some of the best private courses in terms of grounds condition and amenities. Some also believe that those who play on a public golf course are not serious about the quality of their game.
While many tournaments pit players against one another, to the golfer on the public golf course, it is not enough to have a better score than their competition. While cruising around the course, most rarely consider how well, or how bad, the other person is performing. Instead, they are competing against the golf course and not the other players in the contest. It is not until the end of the round that scores are tallied and then the friendly banter begins and the trash talk begins about beating them the next time.
It has also been said that the true measure of a person can be found on the golf course as their patience and integrity is often put to the test. How well a person reacts to difficult situations and well as those where decisions about doing the right thing are frequent on the golf course and others will be watching, albeit from a distance and often unknowingly.
Cost Is Often Major Consideration Choosing Courses
Having the notation of being a public golf course does not always equate to being less expensive. While private courses play only to those holding a valid membership, the public golf course is available to everyone and if the course owner hopes to maintain it in an appropriate manner, they may have to charge more than other public courses in the area to pay for the better care and treatment of the facility.
It takes more than a name to establish a well-known golf course and the people that own and operate the course can make it a pleasure to visit or a travesty. Remember though, that even if the owner of the course is not well liked, chances are they will only be seen when starting to play. From then on, golfers are alone on the golf course, meandering through the acreage and lost in their own competition.
It is also recommended that, while playing the same golf course repeatedly allows people to become better at the game, to truly become a better golfer it will pay to visit different golf courses to see how well different angles and views can be determined in unfamiliar territory.

Use Golf Club Reviews To Help You Buy Your Custom Golf Clubs
Before you make up your mind about buying a golf club set it will be to your advantage to consider buying a set that has golf clubs that will exactly fit with your style of play. Yes, custom golf clubs can be a big advantage over the ones that you will get from a golf store because they offer many benefits including allowing a golfer to play to his or her best abilities.
Although it may theoretically be possible to use a single golf club for each stroke played, it would be very inconvenient as the golfer would need to modify direction and speed for each swing. This is why using custom golf clubs for different purposes have become the custom and the main categories of such clubs include woods, irons, hybrids and putters.
You need to have a certain degree of competency in playing golf before thinking about buying a custom golf club set because only if you know how to swing a golf club properly will you benefit from customizing your golf clubs.
In case you do decide on buying a custom golf club set, you should then ask the builder to ensure that there is nothing lacking when it concerns the lie, loft, flex and length as well as type of club being made for you. What’s more, the clubs must be constructed so as to complement your golf swing and in this regard you can even get your clubs made to have their own slice or draw built into the clubs.
Another aspect to buying custom golf club sets is knowing which clubs are absolutely necessary and which you can do without. Most certainly, there should be a putter, a driver, three and five woods, and perhaps a three iron as well as nine iron and either a wedge or a two iron or some other combination of irons and wedges.
You need to know which are the best materials that help make a golf club perform better, and here again a golf club review will give you important leads to help you choose the best options. Some people even prefer buying a customized golf club set to ensure that nothing comes in the way of helping them to play the best golf possible.
A well chosen set of golf clubs will certainly play an important role in helping the golfer play to his optimum level.

Titleist 909 - The Driver of Tradition and Performance
The Titleist 909 driver is the newest of Titleist drivers high on the list of performance. It's no secret Titleist prides itself on tradition while keeping technology on their radar screen. "Technology and tradition, preserving the balance" is a Titleist theme of striking a delicate balance of keeping traditions alive while advancing technology to the fullest for the betterment of golf. The Titleist 909 is a prime example of technology at its best... and this drive delivers.
The Titleist 909 has a "high society" of PGA tour followings that include Adam Scott, Steve Stricker, Ben Curtis, Zach Johnson, Davis Love III, and Robert Karlsson, just to name a few... that's some pretty darn' good company. But the PGA tour isn't the only place you will find the new Titleist 909 poking its pear-shaped profile out of golf bags around the world. It's also become a favorite of the "better" recreational player looking for a performance boost off the tee.
The Titleist 909 comes in three models, the 909DComp, 909D2, and 909D3. Titleist uses desired launch and optimal spin rate measurements to correctly fit players into a model. Below is a brief summary of each model:
The Titleist 909 DComp is a 460 cc multi-material titanium and composite driver that promotes a high launch and low to mid spin. This model is for the better player looking for higher launch and lower spin rates to promote control and added distance. The 909 DComp comes with a choice of either the Matrix Ozik XCON-5 or Ozik XCON-6 shaft.
The Titleist 909 D3 is a 460 cc titanium driver that promotes a mid launch with a low to mid spin. This driver is geared for the accomplished player looking for a lower launch (lower than the 909 DComp) while keeping spin rates at bay. The 909 D3 comes with a choice of either the Diamana Blue 65 or Aldila VooDoo shaft.
The Titleist 909 D2 is a 440 cc titanium driver with a mid launch and low spin rate that is also geared for the accomplished player. The 909 D2 creates a low and deep Center of Gravity (CG) that in turn reduces spin and creates a higher Momentum of Inertia (MOI), all with the intent of promoting longer, straighter drives. The 909 D2 also comes with a choice of either the Diamana Blue 65 or Aldila VooDoo shaft.
It's no secret Titleist prides itself on tradition while upholding a strong stand on technological advances, two qualities that have prompted them to become one of the most respected and trusted names in golf. The new Titleist 909 driver is no exception... the tradition continues.

How To Drive Long From Swing Man Golf
Would you like to learn how to drive long off the tee. It makes sense as more distance will give us shorter and easier approach shots. There are many golf swing instructional eBooks that offer to show us how to add more distance. Most of them promise, at least, an extra few yards.
These guide books, though, are aimed at the beginner or recreational golfer. They will teach you everything about the proper golf swing sequence; from the grip and setup, to the transition and follow-through. But if you are a more accomplished golfer that is looking for more detailed information about how to drive long, you will need to go to the distance golf experts.
The Long Drivers of America
The first website that you should check out is the Long Drivers of America. They are the golf association that runs the Remax Long Drive Championship. These power golf swing junkies are all about attaining maximum golf distance. So, if you are interested in participating in the Re/Max World Long Drive Championship, then visit the LDA site.
Mike Austin - A Golf Legend
Amazingly, the Worlds longest drive has stood since 1974. The golf legend, Mike Austin at the age of 64, still holds the Guinness World Record for longest drive in a tournament, 515-yards - during the U.S. National Senior Open in Las Vegas.
That was using a 43.5 inch steel-shafted, wood-headed driver! So obviously, the golf equipment doesn't have that much to do with how far you can drive the ball. Though, today's long drive champions use 2X or 3X, extra stiff shafts that are up to 50 inches, and driver lofts that are as low as 5 or 6 degrees.
Learning How To Drive Long
For most of us, we just want to learn how to drive long and to improve our general golf game. You may have a good grip and swing technique, but it doesn't necessarily mean that you will have a good golf distance off the tee. Your golf club head speed is the major factor that you need to improve on. Every 1 mph increase in golf swing speed translates to approximately 2.5 yards of distance. Basically, if you increase your swing speed you'll increase your distance.
Obviously, there are other factors to perfect if you want to learn how to drive long. Golf flexibility and fitness training will improve your overall golf game, as well as your distance. Another important area of your game that you should know about is the mental game of golf. These areas of golf are usually ignored by most golfers, but they are crucial if you want to take your game to the next level.
A Distance Golf Instructor
To learn how to drive long properly, you need a golf instructor who knows what it takes to achieve distance golf. If you can only hit drives of 200 yards, then adding only a few extra yards to your drives won't help you that much. You need to find someone that has been where you are and who can now hit 350 to 430 yard drives.
Visit the Golf Review Blog to find out which Long Drive Champion can show you How To Drive Long. This Professional Golfer can teach men and women of Any Age, Swing Style, and any Skill Level how to easily Gain 30-plus Yards in Just 30 Days. Try a Single Plane Golf Swing Teaching Aid - Nevermind the Stack and Tilt
You can read all kinds of reviews on the Internet about golf swing teaching aids, and the comments--from golf pros to weekend warriors alike--are all over the map. Some golfers swear by this or that golf swing teaching aid, and many others just swear at them. Many teaching pros use training aids that cost next to nothing--hula hoops, shoe boxes, mailbox reflector strips, basketballs--to help their students who are looking to learn how to golf swing, and to give them a mental image that can help them keep the swing grooved when they're out on the course.
All Shapes and Sizes
As you can already tell, golf swing teaching aids come in lots of price ranges and varieties. There are special hinged clubs or other clublike instruments that help you get the feel of a proper--and improper--swing; there are wrist and arm braces that help you key in on proper positioning during the swing; there are computerized gadgets that can tell you about clubhead speed, club face position, and other things. You'll even find simple gadgets like specialized grips.
But Nothing Compares to . . .
The big thing is to recognize that there is no panacea--there is no single golf swing teaching aid that will instantly fix your game. Realistically, there is no teaching aid that will even improve every part of your swing. Instead, each teaching aid will assist you with a specific piece of your golf swing. But that's okay, as specialization and focus are key to really absorbing these motions into muscle memory.
The other important thing to realize is that you must use common sense in selecting and purchasing golf swing teaching aids. Realistically, long-term game improvement comes through effort and focus -- and that comes from practice. Golf swing teaching aids play their own role, but at the end of the day, it's you who needs to apply it properly.
For that matter, before spending a penny on aids, you will likely gain the most benefit from plain old exercise and a video camera. Exercise that specifically works your core will do wonders for your swing and distance, especially over the course of a round. I'm not talking about crunches and the like, but a full core workout, e.g. using Pilates or a physioball. As for the video camera, it's obvious how that can help your swing, but it dawns on very few golfers to actually use theirs. But stack them all together, and you could be a force to be reckoned with!

How To Rectify Golf Swing With Your Golf Pro
As you can imagine one of the most important parts of being a successful golf player is learning exactly how to swing and hit the ball right. If your golf swing is not up to the mark, it can ruin your chance of playing a prosperous game. It is difficult to master the golf swing. But the secret to a better golf swing is constant practice and lots of patience.
When you are just starting out, you feel your golf swing doesn't get better. This could be because of the fact that there are a lot of aspects to a perfect swing of the golf club. There are several facets to master a perfect swing, starting from how your stand, how you shift your weight while making the swing, the type of club you are using to the way you are controlling the club. Thus it becomes all the more hard to gauge the exact reason why you have a poor golf swing and the resultant remedial measures.
Usually people who are tutored on the game of golf spend long hours on honing their swing. To play the game of golf successfully, it is a must that you develop this skill, as without it, no matter how hard you aim to achieve perfection, you would invariably fail. It is thus wholly required that you spend more than enough time in determining this skill exhaustively. This makes it pressing that you spend as much time as possible studying how to perfect this skill, and one good idea is to take help from an instructor who handles you patiently and you too feel at ease in his company. This is critical since you should feel completely comfortable to learn the right posture.
If your teacher fails to make you relaxed, it would ultimately result In the swing being off and spoil your game. When you want to fix your mistakes and improve your game, you have to feel relaxed during practice provided you are comfortable with your instructor. If you have complications mastering your game of golf you will possibly need additional sessions with your teacher so you can correct any problems you are having before you move on.
When you are backed by an expert instructor and spend enough time and effort to bring your golf swing ability to perfection, you would be surprised to find several other facets of the game falling in place. All it needs is a powerful swing, and you would notice that the game has automatically become more exciting and enjoyable. While practice and patience can prefect your game of golf, it also displays your innate skill in taking the most correct decision each time you do a swing with the ball. Simply swinging to swing will likely leave you very frustrated and with a very bad golf grade.
It might take just one lesson or 20 lessons before you can give a perfect game of golf. But irrespective of the time you spend on it, it should never be rushed through as it strengthens your basics in the game. You can pick up golf skills faster if you can play the game naturally. However, don't feel that you can't play the game if you need more time than others. Most people spend more time discovering the perfect swing than they spend on determining other skills of the game. You need to keep these factors in mind when learning the right golf swing as a good swing results in success and a bad swing results in frustration and failure.
After reading the article, you reliaze that it takes time to get the golf instructor based on your expectation. However, if you've been golfing for awhile and you know how to correct your swing, then you can try Medicus Dual Hinge Driver. It is not your normal driver. After each swing, you will know if you're swinging right. Thanks to its dual hinge. Until you fix the flaws in your swing, it will continue to break the club. It will take some practices before you can see your golf swing improve. Why don't you read the Medicus Dual Hinged Driver review before you make any decision.
Best Shafts - Find the Best Golf Shaft for Your Game
Finding the best shaft for your game is not hard, but the payoff is paydirt. Fitting the right shaft for your game produces desirable trajectory, more distance and better control to name a few benefits. In essence using the best golf shaft for your game means playing better golf.
Unfortunately, you don't see the attention given to shafts as you do for drivers, irons, and other clubs. But why? The golf shaft is one of the most underrated pieces of golf equipment in your bag. Yet the educated golfer truly understands that having the right shafts in his clubs means better performance.
Why is a golf shaft so important?
The shaft is the only thing between the club head and your hands that oh by the way, plays a huge role in the outcome of your ball trajectory, control, and distance. But just as the selection of a driver or irons for your game affects performance, selecting the right or wrong golf shaft will give similar results. The golf shaft absolutely needs to be right one for your game and swing to produce desired results.
Since golf shafts vary from one player profile to the next, we can make best shaft generalizations based on market share and general feedback.
The more popular driver shafts include Aldila, Fujikura, Mitsubishi and UST. There are others, but these four make up a majority of market share in the driver shaft category.
Aldila has a number of shafts to choose from including NV, NVS, DVS, VS and the new Voodoo. Fujikura also has a number of very popular shafts that include the Speeder, Rombax Series and ZCOM Six. Mitsubishi is another top choice, especially amongst the tour players, that include the very popular Diamana shaft. Mitsubishi also offers the Javln, Bassara, and their new highly sought after Fubuki shaft. And lastly, UST offer the ever popular Pro Force V2.
Iron shafts can be either steel of graphite, with steel being the more popular of the two among better players. Project X is the most popular Rifle shaft, a top choice amongst PGA tour players.
Each shaft maker will offer multiple designs within each model so that most every golfer will fit into their shaft of choice.
In summary, getting fitted with the right shaft will produce great results. Having the best shafts in your clubs, designed specifically for your swing, will play huge dividends for your overall game.

Mitsubishi Fubuki - The Ultimate Performance Shaft
The Mitsubishi Fubuki shaft has seen its share of publicity, at least as much as a golf shaft receives! So why has this shaft received so much attention and just what can we expect from this exciting new shaft from Mitsubishi?
Fubuki means Blizzard in Japanese and its only fitting we've had to wait until almost winter for its arrival... for the mere mortals anyway. The Fubuki has been seen in the drivers of many top PGA players including Vijah Singh, Phil Mickelson and Richard Johnson, for the good part of 2008'. The results have been no less than stellar.
There is a lot of speculation why the Fubuki has remained long on the wish list for so many. Be sure about one thing, this shaft has seen a demand, maybe unexpectedly, from both the public as well as the tour players. Well, the shaft is now available to authorized dealers, however supply remains somewhat stingy.
Fubuki shaft has many exciting features that include Modulus Differential Technology (MDT), the technical component behind the shaft. MDT incorporates a revolutionary state of the art design consisting of high modulus material combined with specialized, responsive, pitch based fiber in and above the tip section. The shaft is classified as a mid to high kick point shaft with a somewhat generous Torque rating. Most importantly, the overall design allows for various materials to harmoniously work together to promote an enhanced feel and stability. Maybe equally important, MDT offers a significant reduction in golf shaft deformation and lag. This reduction makes it possible to see consistent spin reduction along with a more repeatable dynamic launch angle. The bottom line, this shaft kicks some butt.
The Fubuki inspiration and graphical is an interesting side note. The pure white pearl on the Fubuki shaft is inspired by the meaning of the word "Fubuki. The graphical element of a "throwing star," which is represented by a modified version of a snowflake, and originates from the Japanese Ninja weaponry... the Japanese word for weapon just happens to be "Buki." You can surmise your own meaning behind the artwork, but nevertheless it presents another interesting element to an already intriguing shaft.
The Mitsubishi Fubuki has seen anticipation probably never seen before by a shaft. The PGA player confidence backing from some of the biggest names in golf didn't hurt either. There is absolutely no reason to believe the performance will not live up to the hype either. If your future has a new shaft for your driver, serious consideration should given to the Fubuki shaft.
The First Lessons You Need In Golf
Golf has been played since around the 15th century and it has been frustrating and delighting players alike round the world since then.
In essence golf is a very simple game, hit the ball from one part of the course to another finishing up by knocking it into a hole. But that is where the simplicity ends, which of course is where the challenge and achievement take over to make it such a rewarding sport to pursue.
It is possible to spend an enormous amount of money on learning the basics of golf and some of the equipment is very expensive and, for the newcomer, usually a waste of money. It takes experience and not a little amount of skill to effectively play with the latest drivers. Why you even see the professionals getting it wrong and see how much they practice.
Getting started in golf requires some basic equipment but what is really essential in order to get going?
Well I recommend that you start by perhaps borrowing a club or two from a friend and getting some initial practice down at your local driving range. The quickest way to start learning the game of golf is to take lessons from a pro. Many beginners already know at this stage that golf is for them.
Believe me, you will know pretty quickly whether this is so, the so called golf bug tends to bite beginners pretty quickly! If this happens to you then the best thing to do next is to get some professional lessons. A cheaper way to buy golf lessons is in blocks of five or ten, you will usually get soime forn of discount this way. Lessons early on are important because here you will learn only good habits which will benefit your game for years to come.
Of course whilst you are receiving lessons you can borrow some clubs from the pro, this will enable you to see which types are the most tailored ones to suit your particular build and stance.
Yes this does matter, a great deal in fact, you will see lots of shiny new clubs in the golf stores but most of these will be useless to you if they are not set up correctly for you, this requires adjustments to the lie and loft of the club to suit you personally. You can have all the expensive gear but if it does not suit your golf swing technique what is the point?
Once you have your clubs and a few lessons behind you, you will need something to hit, some low cost balls to start with. Buying expensive balls is not a good thing to do at first as youy will lose too many. You could try buying one of those packs of 'lake balls', a very inexpensive way to get started with balls that have literally been recovered from lakes.
Finally, clothing. Shirts are readily available at any golf shop, use golf shirts particularly because they are longer in the body to cope with the movement of your swing, you don't want to be tucking your shirt in after every shot it gets quite annoying.
Make sure your trousers are comfortable and smart.
Shoes especially need to be comfortable remember you will be on your feet for four hours or so walking round, this is not the item to save money on.
Hopefully this article on the golf swing basics has given you a good start from which to progress.
Lastly if you live in one of the wetter regions of the world make sure you get a quality golfing wet suit designed to breathe.

What You Need To Know About The Golf Club Travel Bag
When you're traveling with your clubs, whether it's for a simple business-combined-with-pleasure outing, or an extended golf vacation, it's important to know that you've got everything you need to make your round the best it can be. When you're on an unfamiliar course, there are lots of things you can't control. But the most important thing you can control—after your golf swing, that is—is making sure all your gear is where it's supposed to be and easily within reach. This means you need your golf clubs, travel bag, and everything else set up to allow you to focus on enjoying your round. Let's take a look at a few of the options.
All-in-One or Combo?
The first decision you need to make is whether you want to re-pack your golf club bag for travel, or simply use your existing bag and pack it in a travel case. Some golfers like the ease and portability of a special golf club travel bag that doubles as a travel case. These golf club travel bags come in both soft sided and hard sided models, and some have wheels built in, for extra ease around airports. They're super lightweight, so they can easily double as your bag on the course, and they do a great job of protecting your clubs in transit. In fact, some of the hard sided models are so tough that the airlines will actually guarantee your clubs against transit damage if you're using one of the approved models of hard sided golf club travel bags or bag cases.
Travel cases
If you really like your existing bag and the way you've got it set up, maybe a special golf club travel bag isn't right for you. Instead, you might prefer to invest in a quality travel case, and simply pack your bag and gear inside the case. Most of these travel cases are hard-sided for maximum protection against travel damage, but many are padded and soft-sided to allow maximum packability. Some feature special "fold away" features that allow for a lot easier storage when not in use. Most feature sturdy wheels with bearings that can take the punishment of curbs, stairs, and even off-road use. Many of the top-line cases offer a lifetime warranty against travel damage. This can be really important, especially when you consider the investment you've already made in your clubs, shoes, and other gear. Also, look for a sturdy base to provide extra stability and protection.
Finding the Best Golf Bag Organizer
"A place for everything and everything in its place…" How many times have you heard that advice, and wished you had a better storage setup for your all-important golf clubs, travel bag, and other golfing gear? Well, your search doesn't have to go on forever. Now there are lots of reputable golf equipment companies, including Callaway, Golfsmith, and others, who are producing sturdy, functional, efficient, and even stylish golf bag organizers for the golfing individual or the golfing family. Most of the latest products are designed to sit on the floor and hold one or two golf bags, along with multiple shelves in various configurations for shoes, tees, towels, and whatever other gear you might want to keep handy.
The Excellent Quality of Wood
Several of these models feature the rich look of oak or maple finishes, adding a touch of distinction wherever they're displayed. Golfsmith offers the J. G. Hickory golf bag stand and organizer in both one-bag and two-bag models, and the unit comes in both walnut finish and brushed nickel. Both are very functional and sturdy. The brushed nickel model adds the handy feature of a ventilated, locking cabinet, for that extra measure of security for your personal belongings stored inside. The double bag units are 38" by 36" by 19," and the single-bag unit is a bit narrower.
Totally Tubular
There are also a variety of metal-construction golf bag organizers and storage systems on the market. These range from the J. G. Hickory brushed nickel model, described above, to the very functional, economically priced tubular steel construction of the Improvements golf bag organizer, which holds two golf bags and has five shelves for storage of shoes and other gear. The Golf Organizer by Suncast features side-by-side storage for two bags, and heaps of shelf space for shoes and other stuff.
On the Wall
If extra floor space is a problem in your home, check out the wall-hung golf bag organizer models available from Racor. Starting at just over $20, these versatile racks can be mounted on any wall, and can accommodate two golf bags, along with plenty of baskets and shelves for all the gear you want to keep with your golfing stuff. These small units that hold up to 50 pounds can go anywhere you've got a little extra wall space, and they'll keep your golfing equipment organized and handy for whenever you're ready to head out to the course.
Stack and Tilt: What's All the Fuss?
Are you completely happy with your golf or do you get frustrated because you wish your drives could be longer, straighter and generally more consistent. What would you give to finally send those really bad shots packing. The good news is that it just might be possible after all. Have you heard of Stack and Tilt? Probably. But what is Stack and Tilt? I heard about it a year or so ago but it's taken me until very recently to find out what all the fuss and let me tell you the hype is justified. If you haven't heard of it it's basically a new type of golf swing which is taking the professional world of golf by storm.
The Stack and Tilt golf swing was developed by Andy Plummer and Mike Bennett - otherwise known in the business as 'The Golf Swing Whisperers'. It took twenty years of painstaking research but the wait was well and truly worth it as there is a revolution taking place. The theory behind this astonishing swing goes against everything you ever thought to be true about the perfect swing.
Although the Stack and Tilt golf swing maintains some of the basic principals, there is one fundamental difference which sets it apart from 'normal' golf swings- it doesn't involve the golfer shifting his or her weight to the back foot. Instead you keep your weight over the ball and in doing so keep much of the control you lose in a traditional swing as your front foot maintains all the weight on it, thereby massively improving your swing.
What you'll gain most from Stack and Tilt is massively improved consistency. The actual execution of the swing is simplicity in itself and yet you will see your ball go further and straighter than ever before!
If you would like to find out how you can get a bit of Stack and Tilt into your game then click here to find out more about how you can try the instructional DVDs risk-free for 60 days. In that time you will definitely see a vast improvement! and those wasted shots could soon be a thing of the past.

A Golf Cooler Bag A Must For Those Hot Days
It never fails: it's 103 in the shade, you're on the far end of the thirteenth hole, you're thirsty, you're hot… and there's not a beverage cart or even a water fountain in sight. Sounds The Same? Well, you don't have to put yourself at the mercy of the elements or the beverage cart route, once you get an insulated golf bag cooler. These handy little items are insulated, waterproof, and soft-sided, so they can be stored in a shoe compartment or other large opening in your bag. And if they're not holding beverages and ice, you can just collapse them into the bag pocket, or even use them for extra golf bag storage.
One Size Doesn't Fit All
A quick scan of the Internet shows that collapsible, insulated golf bag coolers come in sizes that hold from eight to ten cans of your favorite cold beverage. You can pack these watertight bags with ice, or you can order cooler packs that are re-freezable for repeat use. Most models are made with watertight zippers that line up with the zipper on your bag's shoe compartment, for convenient, discreet beverage enjoyment. Some sponsors and manufacturers have even started printing corporate logos on these and giving them away as promotional items, so keep your eyes open at your next pro-am.
Outside the Bag
Coolers are also available with larger capacities, but these are usually designed to sit on the back of the golf cart in plain view. Some fancy models even feature wine and cheese racks, with service for two. Golf-bag-shaped items are also available. These golf bag coolers hold more and don't take up space in your bag, but some clubs frown on the notion of golfers bringing their own beverages onto the course—with good reason, considering the amount of money the club makes on selling beer and soft drinks. Thus, the idea of the golf bag cooler was born; a "stealth" solution to golfers' thirst, and a way to make sure that you've always got your favorite cold drinks with you on the course.
Not Only For The Golf Course
Naturally, the golf bag cooler doesn't have to be "hidden." Most models come with a handy shoulder strap, so they can be carried as a convenient, all-purpose travel cooler, as well. Their durable construction and heavy insulation makes them great for picnics, tailgating, or even taking cold beverages to a get-together at the neighbor's house.

Why Choosing The Right Type Of Clone Golf Equipment Is Important
For people that love to golfing, nothing would make them happier than having the right type of clone golf equipment to improve their golfing game.Having the right clone golf equipment can make the difference, with the wrong equipment causing frustration as the golf balls tend to travel wherever they want to instead of flying straight and true. There are many reasons why choosing the right type of clone golf equipment can make your game a success so the choice of what type of equipment to purchase should be carefully considered before making a final decision.
Controlling The Game
Choosing the right type of clone golf equipment for your golfing needs is very important because the right items can control the pace and the accuracy of the game being played. In golfing, keeping the game at a consistent pace is very important to the quality of the game because it ensures that person can maintain control of the game and that the person's shots will not be off because of bad equipment. Some types of discount clone golf equipment have been found to consistently add strokes to a game for anyone that plays with the equipment because of an inability to consistently hit the ball straight with every stroke.
Some of the less expensive types of clone golf equipment are made from inferior metal that does not have the strength to be very effective at controlling the game or the distance and direction of the golf ball. This can cause the golfer to hook or slice the ball at regular intervals because it is very difficult to control the ball with this type of equipment. Once the person has upgraded to a better formed set of clone golf equipment, they find that controlling the direction and distance of the ball is much easier to manage.
Many of the more expensive types of clone golf equipment come with a warranty where the items will be replaced if they become damaged within the specified time period. Each of these warranties comes with conditions that could void the warranty if the clone golf equipment is considered to have been mistreated. This typically includes beating the clone golf equipment on the ground, throwing the items, or submerging them in water for a significant period of time, all signs of a golfer's temper tantrum over a bad shot or a high score on a hole. The people that look at the clone golf equipment to determine eligibility for a warranty are trained to look for signs of damage consistent with these actions and will void the warranty if any indications of these actions are found.

What Kind of Custom Golf Bag Should I Get?
For the avid golfer, few accessories (other than a really great swing) are as important as a custom golf bag. When you have at your fingertips everything you need for your round, you can relax and focus on hitting the ball and having a great time. There are lots of choices in custom golf bags out there, so let's take a look at a few and start to narrow down the field.
"Pro" Style custom golf bag or "Practice Bag?"
If you play a lot of golf and you like to walk, you may want to consider adding a practice bag to your equipment. Practice bags are very lightweight, so they don't wear you out as much during the round. Newer models are available in a variety of durable fabrics that can stand up to years of steady use. However, if you usually ride or use a pull cart, there's nothing like the convenience and "class" of a full-size, pro-style custom golf bag. Many full-featured bags also double as golf travel bags, which is super convenient for the true devotee who does not go anywhere without the clubs.
All-in-One Travel custom golf bag or Different Combination?
You may already have the perfect bag and have your gear all stowed and set up exactly the way you want it. In that case, you'll need to find a good, durable travel cover to go over your bag. Hint: even if your bag has a snap-on hood to enclose the clubs, a travel cover is still a good idea. There's nothing more frustrating than standing at the airport baggage claim and seeing your clubs come out of the chute…one at a time. You can choose from hard travel covers or soft travel covers for your custom golf bag, depending on your taste. However, the combination units are also very convenient. They can provide all the storage you're used to with your regular bag, but also convert easily to a secure travel container for your clubs and gear—and many models weigh about the same as a regular bag. That can really be a time- and space-saver when you're traveling with your custom golf bag.
Hard-cover or Soft-cover?
Once again, the decision between a hard-cover travel case or a soft-cover custom golf bag with a nice travel cover is really up to you. Some golfers prefer the hard-cover units because of the superior protection they provide for clubs and gear, as opposed to a regular custom golf bag. Others cite the better portability of the hard units; they're a lot easier to wheel around. But the soft custom golf bags with travel cases have their supporters, too, often because of the lighter weight and increased flexibility, for those times you need to cram in "just one more" sleeve of balls.

What To Know When Purchasing Used Callaway Golf Equipment
Many golfers are now purchasing used Callaway golf equipment for a variety of reasons. Some golfers want to save money on a better maker of golf equipment that they could not have afforded otherwise.Others choose to purchase this type of golf equipment as a practice set to use until they feel good enough to upgrade to a more expensive set. Whatever the reason the equipment is being obtained, purchasing used Callaway golf equipment for a golfer can be a difficult task. There are several things to keep in mind when purchasing used Callaway golf equipment and keeping these items in mind will make the process much smoother.
The Type Of used Callaway golf equipment Is Needed
The first thing to keep in mind when choosing used Callaway golf equipment is the reason that the equipment is being purchased for. If the equipment is being chosen to provide a practice set for the golfer, then the design and quality of the equipment is not as important as the price of the set. On the other hand, if the used Callaway golf equipment is going to be the golfer's main equipment for playing the game, then the durability of the equipment may be the most important factor. Keeping in mind what the equipment will be used for after purchase will help eliminate the possibility that the equipment chosen will not be functional for the use it is intended for. Many times, golfers choose cheap golf equipment that is impractical to use because it is too uncomfortable for their height or stance because of the brand that is attached to the equipment.
The Amount Of Use The Equipment Will Receive
Another thing to keep in mind when choosing used Callaway golf equipment is the amount of use that the equipment will receive. Equipment that will only be used for a specific season will have different qualities than equipment that is intended to be used for most of the year. Likewise, the number of times that the person will be using the used Callaway golf equipment during the season is equally important. Equipment that will be used by a serious golfer a couple times a week in an area where golf can be played year round will need to be much more durable than the equipment used by a golfer maybe three or four times a year. The length of time that the equipment will be in use is a very important indicator of what type of used Callaway golf equipment should be chosen, because the cheaper version of the equipment may not hold up to the strain of heavy use, causing the golfer to have to purchase more golf equipment in the near future.
